Resilience Charter is tuition-free.
Will Resilience provide lunch?
Lunch is provided by the Alachua County School District, and will comply with all Free and Reduced lunch options.

Does Resilience have a bus?
Resilience Charter School does not provide transportation. It is the parents' responsibility to ensure that their student(s) arrive and are picked up on time.
When is the school open?
School is in session from 9:00am to 3:20 pm. Doors open at 8:30 for those students not in Before-school care, and close at 5:30. The Front Office is open 8:30-4:30.
Before School and After School Care options are available. Up to one hour of Before Care (at 7:30am) for $10/week, and two hours of After Care (until 5:30pm) for $35/week, may be purchased by parents.
What are the volunteer opportunities?
Volunteer opportunities are as varied as there are volunteers. Please check in with the front office to see
what jobs and services are available to volunteers.
Are there clubs?
Clubs are encouraged and welcomed. All clubs will be up to students to organize with the help of their Teacher Advisor.
How much homework does Resilience assign?
Resilience Charter has a "no needless homework" policy. Students may be expected to work on projects at home, finish unfinished classwork, or do some reading and/or journal-writing.
Does Resilience offer a sports program?
While some sports may be offered at the school in the future, students are welcome to attend their zoned-schools' sports programs. A variety of sports equipment will be available during lunch.
Is there a list of supplies needed?
Yes, there is a supply list for students. Please look for it on the Student page.
Resilience Charter also maintains an Amazon Wish List for all those extras that make for a rich learning experience. Many
price points are available for all budgets.
Does Resilience follow Florida standards?
Resilience Charter School complies with all standards set forth by the Florida Department of Education, including all
standardized tests and End of Course Exams.
What is the dress code?
Students have the right to dress in such a way as to express their own personality. While Resilience Charter School does
not have a formal dress code (i.e., uniform), students' dress should not be disruptive to the school’s mission, vision,
and/or philosophy. This also applies to field trips, site visits, academic internships, and other school-related activities, and
applies equally to students and staff. Text or images that promote violence, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or any
discrimination is prohibited on any article of clothing. Exposure of underwear is prohibited. Students taking Capoeira are advised to wear clothes they can move in - they will be required to do high kicks.
Does the school have an Harassment Policy?
Resilience Charter School maintains that it is critical that all members of the Resilience Charter School community respect each others rights, individuality, and differences. Compassion and mutual respect provide the platform for sharing, learning, innovation, and personal development. Accordingly, Resilience Charter School seeks to prevent harassment of any kind, including harassment based on gender, race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, disability,
body-shaming, sexual orientation, or of a sexual nature.
Can students at Resilience participate in Dual Enrollment?
RCS hopes to accommodate dual enrollment at both Santa Fe College and the University of Florida in the future.
Is Resilience accredited?
Accreditation: Resilience Charter School hopes to be accredited by AdvancED, to ensure that students are College-Ready by graduation. We are currently in the process of applying for accreditation.
