After-school and Before-school Care
Resilience Charter School is happy to offer Before-school care and After-school care to all families who need it. Our commitment is to provide a safe, fun-filled, enrichment experience for your child. Our program empowers students to develop emotionally, physically, and responsibly.
Before-school care will open at 7:30 and run to 8:30 Monday through Friday. The fee is $10/week/child. Doors open to everyone at 8:30, and school begins at 9:00 am.
After-school care runs from 3:30 to 5:30 (1:34-5:30 Wed). The fee is $10/1 day per week, $20/2 days per week, or $35/3-5 days per week, per child.
There is a $30 registration fee for each student, payable once per year. Please fill out this application, one for each child.
Payments may be made through Skooki.com, below.
Parents are required to pick-up students by the designated time. Parents are expected to call if they know that they will be late. Two grace late pick-ups will be allowed each year. Students must be signed out by a parent or guardian (or designated adult - must be prearranged with the office). Weekly payments are due on Monday for that week. Late fees will be applied to all late payments.
Please note that the RCS After-school and Before-school care program is solely supported by tuition payments. It is very important that all payments are received promptly.
Emergency After-school care is available. A phone call from the parent/guardian is required. The fee is $15 per day, for no more than two days. Registration is required after that.
Discipline: Failure to cooperate with established policies and procedures, or repeated disruptive behavior, is just cause for dismissal from RCS After-school and Before-school care.
It is the parents’ responsibility to ask for and obtain tax records. Our tax id # is 47-2474983.

This information may also be used for other state or federally funded school benefits. Please complete one of these forms even if you think you don’t need it, or plan to send lunch from home every day. The information may help our school receive extra funding.

HOUSEHOLD SIZE is considered all persons, related or unrelated: Including parents, children, grandparents who live in your home and share living expenses. The TOTAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME is the income each household member received last month before taxes - this includes wages, social security, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony, and any other cash income.
Foster Children - In certain cases, foster children are eligible for free and reduced-price meals regardless of your income. If you have foster children living with you and want to apply for them, please contact us.
Lunches can be paid for using MySchoolBucks.com, or cash deposits with the school at lunchtime. A computer will be available in the office for families to use, if needed.

Dressing for Capoeira
Although Resilience Charter School does not have a formal dress code, it is required that students taking Capoeira dress in clothing appropriate for the class. Capoeira involves many high kicks and a vigorous workout. If your child is wearing a dress or skirt, please have them wear or bring shorts to wear underneath. Instructor Samurai warns that if a student wears skinny jeans, they will knock themselves off their feet during a high kick. Please make sure students wear clothes in which they can comfortably kick.
Parent Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures
All parents who will be dropping off and picking up their children via car, please follow these procedures:
In the morning, your child may exit the car at the front door. Doors open at 8:30 am.
In the afternoon, enter the complex from NE 16th Avenue from the far Eastern entrance. (see map) Follow the blue line on the roadway along the Eastern edge. Turn left at the end, proceed to the stop sign, or to the next car waiting in line. STOP THERE. Wait there for dismissal time. Please pull to the stop sign before allowing your child to access the car.
You may turn left to exit to NE 16th Ave., or continue straight to leave the parking lot on NE 9th St.
Students participating in morning Before-School Care may also use the front entrance from 7:30-8:30 am.
Students in Afterschool Care may exit through the double doors in front, after being signed out by parent/guardian. Please park in a space, and come into the building to pick up your child(ren).
